Garap, an order app for laser cutting and CNC workshops
Customers work out the price themselves from their drawing file, order through the website, and follow their order through a single link. Workshop staff manage orders, payments, production, stock, and money from one app on a phone, tablet, or computer.
What you can do
- Calculate the price from a drawing file (DXF, DWG, SVG, PDF, AI, CDR, EPS, and PLT) right in the customer's browser. A file that cannot be read is still accepted as an attachment for the admin to check.
- Take orders through the website without a customer account. Customers pay by transfer, QRIS, or e-wallet and then upload proof of payment (there is no payment gateway), and follow their order through a single link.
- Give operators a work queue on a shared tablet. Operators sign in with a PIN, mark jobs as started and finished, and then record the sheets of material used.
- Record stock of materials and goods, money received from orders, and expenses. The workshop owner sees a summary.
- Notify customers on WhatsApp with one button that opens a chat, with no paid WhatsApp API.
How to start
- Open demo.hanzcodes.my.id. Demo accounts for the owner, admin, and operator are shown on the Masuk (Sign in) page.
- On the Hitung Harga (Price Calculation) page, upload a design file or choose a Template Desain (design template), and the Harga Estimasi (estimated price) appears straight away.
- To have it installed at your workshop, contact us. We fill in the workshop settings (name, machines, materials, and price list), then install it on the workshop's own hosting.
Your data
One installation serves one workshop, and its data is stored on that workshop's own hosting. Customers order without creating an account. An encrypted daily backup is sent to off-site storage.
The demo uses a fictional workshop called Laser Demo Garap. Everything in it is sample content and is reset every midnight. Please do not enter real names or WhatsApp numbers.
Technical details
Laravel 13 (PHP 8.4) with Blade, Alpine.js, htmx, Tailwind, and a SQLite database. The drawing file reader runs in the browser (Web Worker). One installation per workshop, which can run on cPanel, a VPS, or Docker. There are 80 automated test files, including browser tests. The DWG and EPS file readers use components licensed under the GPL and AGPL. The list of components and their licences is on the Lisensi (Licences) page in the app.
Installed at your workshop
Garap is installed once per workshop, on the workshop's own hosting. We agree the price and schedule around your workshop's needs. Contact us. One workshop already uses Garap. At the user's request, we do not name the workshop.
